BIOGRAPHY

Yumehito's and Yuya's musical career started in early 1998, as Yumehito started to learn the guitar, and Yuya started to learn the drums. They were both 12 years old.
In March, they started a band with their elementary school classmates and tried to get members to join them.

However, it seemed that they gave up on their former attempts of starting a band together, and they became supporting members of other bands.

Yumehito met Tatsuhi in 2000 by chance at some kind of school club activity and they became friends. A little later their musical activities (or at least their band) were paused.
About a year later in May 2001, Yumehito happened to meet Ryuuji in senior high-school, and they became friends as well.

In April 2002, Yumehito decided he wanted to start a 'serious' band. Yuya joined him, and he contacted Tatsuhi and Ryuuji again. They chose the name Primrose, and had their first 'real' live gig on June 6th, at the Nagoya music farm.

A lot of performances followed, and they even released a single in November, called "Shingetsu -Yami-" (see the bottom). Both songs were written by Yumehito. In their career they had about 8 songs, and all of them were written by Yumehito as well.

They continued to perform, and for a while they played with an extra guitarist called UZ. However, the band had a break, from the summer of 2003 until Christmas.

In April 2004, two years after the start of Primrose, they changed their name to Soroban.
